Forgive Me for Being Forty

I come across this writing prompt a lot on Pinterest, but literally the only nursery rhyme that comes to mind when I see it is, “When I was coming up the stairs, I met a man that wasn’t there. He wasn’t there again today. I wish, I wish he’d go away.” It’s so awesome, but already taken by the movie Identity. So, boo.
